The Principal, Programme Coordinators, CAS, DP core and MYP Project Coor- dinators, Wellbeing, college guidance teams and student council will take part in pre-recorded and/or slide presentations presented live with a Q & A session to round off their sessions. The live orientation will be left on ManageBac for later reference for newbies who did not grasp the live sessions. • Virtual School for all - Formal synchronous and asynchronous teaching and learn- ing for all. • Full subject curriculum delivery to fulfil all IB Programme requirements. • Weekly attendance register (to support asynchronous/distance learning). • Limited delivery of virtual After School Activities (ASAs). • Virtual school productions, Founders’ Day, Achievers’ Day. Virtual excursions. Benefits of the virtual school at TIS – curriculum delivery by teachers with experience in remote teaching, a balanced mix of onscreen/off screen time, full subject and pastoral support for all students Model 2: Some Students Return to School • Virtual orientation as per Model 1. • As per boarding protocols, all key students can return to school. • Key students - Grades 7, 10, 12, newbies, (returning students who are not part of the aforementioned groups but who might benefit from face-to-face interaction with teachers). • The PYP pupils can return under the current social distancing protocols. • The school will make provisions for increased sanitiser dispensers (e.g. next to each classroom), veronica buckets (e.g. at the 3 student entrances to the MPH), a designated isolation area. • Possibility of allowing Day students to attend (if classroom spacing will allow this). • Movement of large classes to exam hall spaces. • Delivery of subjects through blended learning (synchronous & asynchronous learning). • Weekly attendance register (to support asynchronous/distance learning). • Delivery of virtual and some live non-contact sports activities for ASAs. • Virtual school productions, Founders’ Day, Achievers’ Day.
