On-campus protocols Secondary Campus • All staff and visitors to the school will adhere to the health and safety protocols, such as wearing face masks on campus and regular sanitization of hands. • All persons should adhere to maintaining at least 1 metre space from the next person at all times. • All staff and students are encouraged to have a bottle of sanitizer on them at all times. • All parcels will be disinfected at the gate before being handed over to the stu- dents. Exeats • Exeats will be approved, however, parents must ensure safe contacts and social distancing protocols. • Returning students are required to have a temperature scan (as well as everyone else in the vehicle) on return to hostels. • Please consider if the exeat is essential, considering possible implications. Visits by Family • A limited number of people will be allowed on campus during visiting, restart and breaks. • Please advise beforehand, as usual. At least 24 hours’ notice. Day and approximate time are required.. • Please answer the key questions with integrity: - do you have any symptoms such cough, running nose, temperature exceed- ing 37 o C ? • Submit to a temperature scan. • Use sanitizer as directed. • Maintain social distancing protocols. Minimum 2 metres. No personal contact. • All parcels and packages are to be sanitised. • No sharing of food. Facilities • Washbasins, sanitizers and temperature scanners will be placed at vantage points in the school. • Washrooms, learning areas and surfaces will be disinfected at least twice a day. Classroom capacity will be reduced in adherence to social distancing protocols. See Appendix 5.
